Travelling by car & by train.
Travel expenses only arise from a distance of 18 km onwards — the starting point is 92637 Weiden i.d.OPf.
The 18 km rule
Up to a distance of 18 km, no travel expenses arise. Travel is only charged beyond that.
By train
Second-class tickets are passed on at cost. Travel time is likewise charged at 75 % of the agreed hourly rate.
No mark-up
There is no travel flat rate and no administration surcharge. Only what has actually been incurred is charged.
2 · Overnight stays
Hotel: costs at cost, without a mark-up.
For assignments lasting several days, hotel costs are passed on at cost — the standard is solid mid-range with a rating of 8–10 points.
Binding version
This page explains the terms. Binding is § 8 of the terms and conditions — identical in substance: the 18 km rule, 75 % of the hourly rate for travel time, hotel at cost.
