You pay for the solution once, after that it belongs to you: full source code, all credentials, documentation. Technology does need care, of course — which is why I offer maintenance (Updates, security, performance monitoring, backups, small adjustments). It is cancellable monthly.
You can leave at any time and change developer — I deliberately build so that anyone else can take over. Loyalty should come from usefulness, not from a contract.

Frequent questions
What gets asked beforehand.
Can you take over my existing shop?
Yes. I take over, optimise and migrate — OpenCart in particular. Products, customers and SEO URLs are preserved.
Why not Shopify?
For some it fits — and then I say so. But anyone with many articles, their own pricing logic or an ERP system pays there permanently. Your own shop often pays for itself after one or two years.
What if I want to switch later?
The shop belongs to you, with code and database. Any other developer can take over.
